Transition to new infrastructure

NKC Schools has taken the first step in transitioning to a new infrastructure.  The results of a fall audit spotlighted several areas of concern regarding the district infrastructure.  Aging equipment being one of the main concerns. After the audit the district set out on designing a new infrastructure to address the aging equipment concern.  Two consulting companies assisted the district on the design.  At the last board meeting the district approved a contract with one such company to assist us with services through this process.  The district also published an RFQ for the hardware needed.

The hope is to take RFQ recommendation to BOE for approval on July 6.
